Lt Gen Amit Sharma served in the Indian Army for 40 years.
Held numerous command positions and was awarded the PVSM, AVSM and VSM for distinguished service to the nation.
He retired at the rank of an Army Commander as the Commander in Chief of India’s Nuclear Command.
He has served abroad and in all parts of the country including Punjab during militancy, the Line of Control, in Counter Terrorism Ops in J&K, on the Watershed (LAC) with China, in the Deserts and Plains.
Lt Gen Amit Sharma holds MSc and MPhil degree in Management & Defence Studies.
