DBW359 (Karan Shivangi) is a high-quality wheat variety released for the Central Zone (CZ) and Peninsular Zone (PZ). It is an early maturing, disease-resistant variety with good chapati and biscuit-making qualities, making it suitable for diverse agro-climatic conditions. Breeder seed will be supplied to licensees, and the Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research will provide assistance.
