overview
The air-cooled vegetable vending cart developed by RuTAG, IIT Roorkee uses an eco-friendly evaporative cooling system to reduce heat-induced spoilage. Equipped with a DC pump and fan for optimal cooling, it preserves produce for 2–3 days. Its modular design and tricycle variant minimize losses and improve vendor livelihoods, supported by training and technical assistance.
