ICAR-DCFR's recirculating aquaculture technology enables efficient rainbow trout farming (DCFR EC-RAS-1) in unconventional locations. It reduces water usage to under 1 m³/kg, increases productivity to over 40 kg/m³ and shortens culture duration. Validated over three years, it supports rapid, multiple cropping cycles with complete technical and operational assistance.
