Espalier Training System for High-Density, High-Quality Guava Production

The espalier system allows 8–10 times more guava trees per hectare than traditional planting, significantly improving light interception, photosynthesis, fruit quality, and yield. Tested with Shweta and Lalit varieties, it delivers 20–35 t/ha and doubles Grade ‘A’ fruit proportion. The system is approved by VTIC and demonstrated across multiple districts.
