CSR 76 is a medium-tall, high-yielding rice variety developed by ICAR- Central Soil Salinity Research Institute and released by the U.P. State Variety Release Committee in 2021. It is tolerant to sodic soils (pH 9.2–9.7), moderately resistant to major pests and diseases, and delivers stable yields with excellent grain quality, milling recovery, and cooking properties.
