Call for the nomination of 'She is' - 75 women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) (Publication date: 2 Feb, 2022) (Results)

To commemorate India’s 75th year of Independence, Red Dot Foundation and Beyond Black, in collaboration with Office of PSA, are seeking to honor 75 Indian Women in STEAM (fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) through its ‘She Is’ book series.

The first edition of She Is - Stories of Women Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in India was launched on 25 November 2021 by the British High Commissioner Mr. Alex Ellis. Subsequently Consul General Mr. David Ranz of the US Consulate General Mumbai hosted a physical launch along with a roundtable Accelerating Gender Equality. The aim of the book series is to showcase more women role models for youth, make visible the leadership of women and generate interest in the SDGs. Some articles featuring the first book are in the Times of India and India Together.
