The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is facilitating Mobile Cold Storage Technology Solutions To Transport Self Help Groups Perishable Agriculture and Dairy Products By the Ministry of Rural Development

Mobile cold storage units for expanding shelf life of perishable items such as fruits, vegetables and dairy products.

Objective:

A. Provide solutions to reduce wastage of agriculture and dairy products
B. Mobile storage of perishable products to expand their shelf life.
C. Mechanical and non mechanical cold storage solutions
D. Self sustainable storage and transportation solutions

Expected Outcomes:

Enhancement of income of small and marginal women farmers by reducing their produces wastage and realising of better prices.

Note:
The funding of the opportunity is subject to the technological solution, viability of market ready innovation and internal process of selection of DAY-NRLM. Selection of solutions and release of funds is at the sole discretion of the Department.
