The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is advancing India's international science and technology engagements through global partnerships. Initiatives such as International Technology Engagement Strategy (ITES), India EU Trade and Technology Council (EU-TTC), India-UK Technology Security Initiative (TSI), QUAD technology partnerships, and India-US TRUST (Transforming the Relationship Utilizing Strategic Technology) serve as platforms for India to engage with its key international partners to foster strategic cooperation on frontier technologies. ➡️Under the ITES initiative, outward-facing technology-specific strategies (such as in Quantum) are being prepared and released by the office with an aim to augment India’s national technology missions with necessary international partnerships. ➡️The India-US TRUST initiative strengthens collaboration in critical and emerging technologies and drives innovation across various sectors to support long-term technological growth and resilience. ➡️The India EU-TTC extends strategic partnerships in the European Union through collaboration in trade, technology, and digital governance. ➡️Through the India-UK TSI, India and the United Kingdom are strengthening collaboration in domains such as telecommunications, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, health tech, and others to accelerate shared research and development. ➡️The QUAD is a strategic diplomatic and security partnership between Australia, India, Japan, and the United States focusing on critical technologies, infrastructure development, and supply chain resilience. Through these global initiatives, the Office of PSA is accelerating India's international scientific and technology engagement agenda by bringing together various stakeholders and key partner countries to drive innovation and secure technological resilience.
