𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 2035: 𝐀 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 - 1) - 𝐍𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐒&𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 In a conversation with Former Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Anil Kakodkar, he underscored that participation in global initiatives such as the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) extends far beyond financial investment. He noted that involvement in such mega-science collaborations enables India to strengthen its indigenous scientific capabilities while gaining access to advanced technological and research expertise generated through international cooperation. Dr. Kakodkar also emphasised the importance of aligning these initiatives with India’s long-term national priorities and future requirements. Highlighting the need for innovation and original thinking, he remarked that India must move from “Imitation to Imagination” to establish itself as a global leader in science and technology.
